If Led Zeppelin and the The Black Keys had a lovechild, and if that lovechild was weaned on a steady diet of Midnight Oil, Deep Purple, MC5, Blondie and Aerosmith, with Spinal Tap on the tele, Alphabet City would be the outcome. We love a powerhouse vocal, a wild guitar, a stomping beat and a lush keyboard. Four St Kilda 'lifers' with a few side journeys and stints in far flung places like New York, the guys from AC have been around. Originally forming back in the day, AC is the second coming of this lineup, joining forces again in 2023, Alphabet City is the culmination of many collective years dragging amps and drums in and out of cars, uptown, downtown and sideways.
