This post-genre electronica act is the alter-ego of local St Kilda-based visual artist, lyricist and composer Phaedra Gunn (they/she). Described as a sonic & visual synthesis of Bjork, Nina Simone and Peter Gabriel, as Madam Nightingale Phaedra has been performing jazz & prog influenced synth and dance-pop songs since 2020, collaborating regularly with producers Aj'Zho, Flip That Groove, Lost Dogs of Ultimo, Me From The Future & multi-instrumentalist Chris Pehrson.
