Megan Kennedy

Honing her own unique blend of fingerstyle folk and melodic indie pop, Megan has crafted a repertoire of contemplative songs laced with her signature breezy vocals and catchy guitar hooks. Often described as ‘road songs’ her lyrics have a tendency to slip across time and place, capturing the everyday, the existential and things stuck in the middle.

In 2023, Megan released her debut single Time Machines, a sun-drenched ballad that has been described as melodically deft, triumphant and disarmingly charming. She has since rehearsed and performed steadily with a four-piece band, refining her live act and making an impression across a range of venues and festivals, both locally and regionally. Having finished recording her debut EP at the end of 2024, Megan has just released the first single Can’t Catch the Night alongside a brand-new film clip. The future is looking bright for Megan, with more releases set to follow throughout 2025.
