Award-winning pianist Mina Yu & Modu (모두) Ensemble deliver a dynamic, playful show that blends Korean storytelling with uplifting samba, house, and jazz rhythms. An engaging and natural storyteller, Mina effortlessly guides the audience through intriguing cultural tales - like why you should never whistle at night or the ominous meaning behind the number four, creating a highly interactive and energetic show.
Setup
We perform primarily as a dynamic 4- to 5-piece ensemble featuring piano/vocals, drums, bass, cello, and optional horn/vocals, enhanced by integrated pre-recorded samples for a full production sound. We are also flexible and can adapt to smaller settings as a solo or duo act upon request.
