Synthotronica is the alter-ego of award-winning artist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Ania Reynolds.

She has performed her original music across five continents and worked with the likes of Circus Oz, Femi Kuti and Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project. Her original brand of electronic sonic mayhem combines fat beats with fatter synths and live baritone sax with the occasional triangle solo, and she has delighted audiences everywhere from Tollwood Winter Festival (Munich) to the Melbourne Planetarium, Karnidale Circus Festival (WA) to the Cantagalo Favela (Rio de Janeiro).

More recently Synthotronica has taken to the streets of Melbourne, igniting spontaneous dance parties with her infectious grooves at Moomba, Prahran Square, Rosebud Jetty, The District Docklands and everywhere in between.

Afrobeat, dub/reggae, glitch-hop, wonkstep, steampunk swing, Ethio-jazz and more feature in her upbeat performances.
