• Why become a Featured Artist?

  The Featured Artist database is designed to help event organisers discover and book local musicians for their events. Live N Local aims to promote local acts and help local venues program live music to support a rich live music culture in our City. 

• Will my details be on the website?

  Yes, some of the details collected in the form below will be publicly available on this website so organisers can discover your music and contact you with opportunities.

• Why are there so many questions about diversity?

  The City of Port Phillip is committed to access and inclusion and the promotion of equitable participation. These questions help guide the programming of diverse acts from all backgrounds and communities. 

• If I sign up will I definitely get a gig?

  Whilst we will promote featured artists through our channels, we cannot guarantee that all artists featured on the website will get a booking. Artists featured in the database are eligible to be booked through the Locals Playing Locals: Live Music Support Scheme.

• What if my details change?

  The website will be updated monthly. Please request any changes to your listing by emailing: livenlocal@portphillip.vic.gov.au

• I got an error message after I filled out the form, did my entry work?

  If an error message appears after you clicked submit your entry may not have worked. Please either try again on a different web browser or email livenlocal@portphillip.vic.gov.au
