In Berlin 2024, Belle Phoenix and Jeffrey Wegener met up at various gigs before discussing the potential of a project they had been planning online for a decade. Now in 2026, the recording has been completed. "The Cinematic Love" album was recorded in Melbourne St Kilda with Lindsay Gravina (Rowland S. Howard, Adalita). The whole project of original songs took Phoenix 5-years to fructify after living through covid in Europe. Previously, Phoenix released her Frankenstein album 'The Glorious Dead' with some self-produced tracks as well as tracks engineered by Mark Plati (David Bowie, The Cure, Lou Reed). Demolition 25 Ep is a live recording, memento of their first time playing together 2025.
