The Dums are a four-piece band bringing raw punk to the St Kilda/Naarm music scene, blending melodic hooks with unfiltered live intensity while juggling chaos and joy. The supergroup features Hayley Jenkins (vocals/guitar/trumpet), Aliesha Hinton (vocals/drums), Marven Van lim (bass/vocals) and Taj Robertson (guitar). The Dums have played venues across Melbourne including The Vineyard, Surabaya Johnnys, The Tote and The Last Chance, sharing bills with acts such as The Peptides, Super American Eagle, Keyo Roses Flying Circus and Burn In Hell.

Setup

We typically perform as a 4 piece, all members sing, 2 guitars bass and drums. Occasionally based on the gig we hire additional musicians such as Violins/ Horns dependent on size and scale of event. We are very happy to perform as a duo, typically piano and trumpet with both members singing. Can also perform comfortably at cover based events.
